Montreal – December 7, 2015 – Edu-Performance Canada announces an agreement for the development and delivery of a customized version of its Tactic! LMS product for the Canadian Air Transport SecurityAuthority (CATSA).
This agreement will see CATSA receive its own Tactic! LMS e-learning platform version 5.1 in order to handle the training of CATSA’s over 10,000 employees across all airports in Canada. The development of this functionality will last through March 2017.
This new version 5.1 of Tactic! LMS used in the hybrid training of CATSA employees combines both online courses with in-person traditional training courses. Several other functionalities like the management of training controls and simulation follow-ups will also be integrated into this new version for CATSA.
The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority is a Crown corporation responsible for securing specific elements of the air transportation system – from passenger and baggage screening to screening airport workers.
Established on April 1, 2002, CATSA is fully funded by parliamentary appropriations and is accountable to Parliament through the Minister of Transport.
